LITE approached the task inspired by the exciting construction, and found a solution with facade lighting in the form of a wall washer.

Outstanding architecture requires extraordinary lighting to highlight the details without the light becoming the central focus. It is important to consider the whole in the architecture. The Utzon House in Aalborg is a prominent building and a cultural trademark, where it is the building that should tell the story. By using simple lighting with maximum effect, we achieved exactly the focus you want on the distinctive character of the building.

Utzon Center was inaugurated in May 2008 and is a gathering place on Aalborg Harbourfront, where architecture, design and art, exhibitions and conferences, meetings and culinary experiences play together.
